3:30 p.m., November 13, 2025   |   303 Cushing Hall of Engineering

A compelling teaching statement is an essential part of academic job applications and a meaningful opportunity to showcase your identity, values, and strengths as an educator. In this workshop, we will discuss how to craft a clear and engaging narrative that articulates your teaching philosophy, describes your instructional approaches, and explains the reasoning behind your choices. By the end of the session, you will be equipped to begin drafting a professional, persuasive teaching statement that helps search committees envision you as an effective instructor and future colleague.
